Race update February 2008

The entries are coming in thick and fast still so anyone yet to enter please do so as soon as you can at www.ashby20.co.uk. The online system has been working well and for anyone wanting to enter more than one person through a single payment, you’ll be pleased to know you can do this.

We have our resident Gorilla running again this year with a truck load of bananas to keep you all going; as well as chocolate and jelly babies for the needy. Where else can you run 20 miles and still put weight on!! 

And, we will have bottled water and energy drinks rather than those horrible cups. This does of course mean you will need to tread carefully to avoid my trick at London  (twisting my ankle at 5 miles on a full bottle) but also ‘think before you throw’ your bottle away. We will have bins after the drink stations and also an army of helpers so please dispose of your bottle on the side of the road.
